9/11 anniversary marked with ‘minute of respect’

UNMC and the clinical enterprise will be among the local organizations, businesses and individuals taking part in a “Minute of Respect” this Thursday to remember the lives lost in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Omaha’s First Responders Group is asking everyone who can to pause at 9:11 a.m. this Thursday to remember the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, members of the military and civilians who were killed in the attacks.

If appropriate, please consider observing a moment of silence and reflection at this time Thursday morning.
