The UNMC community is invited to take part in the Durham Museum’s latest River City History Tour — “Last Call for Alcohol: Omaha’s Bootlegging History.”
On Sept. 3, the museum’s education team will host a wide-ranging tour aboard Ollie the Trolley, featuring information on Omaha’s bootlegging past, based on a 1931 federal indictment against some of the city’s most notorious criminals.
- What: A Durham River City History Tour: “Last Call for Alcohol: Omaha’s Bootlegging History.”
- Date: Wednesday, Sept. 3 at Infusion Brewing Company, 6115 Maple St.
- Time: Meet at 5 p.m., trolley departs at 5:45 p.m., returning to Infusion at 7:30 p.m.
- Cost: $10
