The UNMC community is invited to a July 18 retirement reception for Kathy VonDollen, which will be from 1 to 4 p.m.
VonDollen, a registered nurse and the coordinator of the UNMC Low Vision Center since 1982, will be retiring from the Weigel Williamson Center for Visual Rehabilitation on July 31.
VonDollen has been at UNMC since 1981.
“Kathy has been such an important part of the Weigel Williamson Center and the Low Vision Clinic,” said John Shepherd, M.D., director of the center. “Her dedication to our patients and our mission is inspiring. We will miss her, but we wish her well in her retirement.”
Refreshments will be served at the event.
