Tell us a bit about what you do here at UNMC.
I have worked in the IT data center operation since I have been at UNMC. Data center operations provides monitoring, troubleshooting and problem resolution for all computing platforms and networks for UNMC and the clinical enterprise. Operations staff members are on duty 24 hours per day, 365 days per year to ensure the integrity of computer processes and to address issues as they arise. Operations provides enterprise help-desk support on weekends, holidays and after business hours.

We had a power outage once and to see the response and help that we received from the on-calls that day was pretty impressive.
What is your favorite spring activity?
Turkey hunting.

- I coached indoor professional football for 10 years with the Omaha Beef/Sioux City Bandits.
- I like to hunt and fish year round.
