Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) will be the focus of the next Olson Center Brown Bag event on Tuesday, June 10. The event was rescheduled from May.
Holly Roberts, Ph.D., of the Munroe-Meyer Institute will discuss truths and myths about ADHD — how it is diagnosed, whether more children are being diagnosed, what current research says about treatments and other areas of interest.
The event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the UNMC Durham Research Center, Room 1002.
Seating is limited; please pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 402-559-6345. Bring your lunch. Simple refreshments will be provided.
The lectures are free, but nursing credit is available for $10. Payment instructions will be given at preregistration.
Note: The UNMC College of Nursing Continuing Nursing Education is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This activity is provided for 1.0 contact hour under ANCC criteria.
