Tell us a bit about what you do here at UNMC.

As the multimedia manager for the public relations team, I shoot weekly video stories focusing on exciting new innovations and initiatives on campus that can be seen in UNMC Today and on UNMC’s YouTube page. I also take photographs of faculty, staff and events to help promote UNMC’s knowledgeable staff and faculty to the community at large.

“Working together” is one of UNMC’s brand values. Tell us of a time you witnessed an example of people working together at UNMC.
When the public relations team worked with Ronald McDonald House to promote the Freezin’ for a Reason event, I was impressed to see how the PR team and the UNMC community as a whole could come together to support such a worthy cause. I’m happy to be in a position to help promote all the fine work done at UNMC.

What is your favorite spring activity?
A tie between playing golf and eating barbecue.

List three things people may not know about you.

• I collect antique radios and cameras.
• I will drop everything to watch a good Western movie. Some of my favorites: “The Shootist,” “Open Range” and “Unforgiven.”
• I’m a twin – my sister lives in Arlington, Texas.
