I am faculty within the clinical laboratory science program through the School of Allied Health Professions. I teach microbiology, serology, and infectious disease courses to clinical laboratory science, pharmacy, and UNMC High School Alliance students.
“Leadership” is one of UNMC’s brand values. Tell us of a time you witnessed this commitment at UNMC.
UNMC’s SHARING Clinics are one of the few interdisciplinary student-run health care clinics in the United States and worldwide. The dedicated faculty and students who volunteer their time to make sure the uninsured and underinsured population of Omaha has access to health care are key leaders within both education and patient care. These volunteers promote the future of the multidisciplinary team within health care and provide high-quality health care and human services to those in need.
What is your favorite spring activity?
