People who work during the day will be able to attend either of two short informational sessions over the next two months to introduce public health to prospective students.
The two sessions will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 27, and 10 a.m., Saturday, March 14, in the Maurer Center for Public Health, 519 S. 40th Plaza Circle. Each session is two hours long.
“The informational sessions are an excellent opportunity to discover more about our dynamic academic and research community,” said Jessica Tschirren, director of educational services, College of Public Health.
Participants will learn about the college’s certificate, master of public health, master of science and PhD programs, meet admissions and program representatives and learn more about the public health discipline and career opportunities.
“We’ve designed these short sessions to meet the needs of working people,” Tschirren said. “They supplement our longer and more involved open house events.”
