March 2 – The 10th annual Walk and Roll for Disabilities, a fundraiser for the Munroe-Meyer Institute, will be held at 10:30 a.m., at Oakview Mall.
March 8 – Employees are invited to attend the Omaha Lancers vs. Youngstown Phantoms hockey game at 7:05 p.m. at the Ralston Arena. Tickets will be sold for $15 with $4 of every ticket going back to the medical center’s Relay for Life Team. Contact Mallory Car for more information.

June 2-6 – Celebration of the 10th anniversary of UNMC’s relationship with China will be held sometime this week.
June 6-7 — The 2014 Cattlemen’s Ball will be hosted by the Hoot Owl Ranch near Harrisburg, Neb., which is near the Wyoming border. Kenny and Misty Stauffer are ranch managers, while Jeff and Kathy May own the ranch.
June 7 – Polo for Patients, an equestrian style fundraiser for The Nebraska Medical Center, will be held at Levi Carter Park. All proceeds will benefit the Patient Assistance Fund, a resource that provides support for basic needs such as transportation, lodging, clothing and food for patients and their families.
