The Chinese Cultural Fair will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday in the Durham Research Center Commons.
Welcoming the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Horse, the event will include:
- A tea tasting.
- Rice dumpling and sesame candy making.
- Calligraphy demonstrations.
- Games.
- Food.
- Displays about major cities in China.
- Performances, starting at 3:45 p.m.
- Door prizes.
The event is coordinated by the Asia Pacific Rim Development Program, along with UNMC’s Chinese Scholarship Council students. It is co-sponsored by UNMC’s Asia Pacific Rim Development Program, UNMC HR-Employee Relations, Organizational Development & Diversity at the Chinese Scholar and Student Association.
