Ira F. Combs, community health advocate and “Champions of Change” White House award recipient, will deliver the keynote address at UNMC’s annual luncheon to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Combs’ speech is titled “King, Health Care and his Letter from Birmingham Jail.”
The Martin Luther King Jr. event will once again be available for viewing via a live stream feed for those who are unable to attend Jan. 20.
The keynote address will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in lower Storz Pavilion. If you are unable to attend in person, click here to join via a live stream beginning at 11:50 a.m.

Musical accompaniment at the event will be provided by Omaha keyboardist Nate Asad and drummer Billy Foeman Quartey.
