In this new occasional feature, UNMC Today will spotlight UNMC travelers who submit photos of themselves displaying their UNMC pride — with shirts, caps, signs, etc. Photos should be good quality and taken at locations that will be of interest to the campus at large.
Today in UNMC On the Go, we feature:
UNMC student Robert Mason, physical therapy class of 2015. Mason summitted the 14,497-foot Mount Whitney in California — the tallest mountain in the contiguous United States — earlier this year. Mason, who grew up mountaineering in Washington state, was a youth leader for a Boy Scouts of America trip along with some family. When climbing, Robert always carries a “flag” to represent where he is at that time in his life, so his wife made this laminated UNMC icon for the occasion. —Submitted by Fran Higgins, School of Allied Health Professions
