Tell us a bit about what you do here at UNMC.
As with most employees here at UNMC, I wear many hats. I help to ensure that employee data is entered correctly so payroll and benefits processes happen as they should. I am also part of the team responsible for security of our employee and financial data. So if an employee has problems getting into Firefly or if a department needs help doing SAP employee data entry, our office can help!

Every year at this time we have NUFlex Enrollment. During this busy time, all of Human Resources pulls together to help support our Benefits Office. My office facilitates enrollment by ensuring employees have access to Firefly so they can do their benefits enrollment.
What is your favorite fall activity?
I like to spend time outdoors with my husband Mike and our dog Miles enjoying nature and photography.
List three things people may not know about you.
- I have four Christmas cacti here at the office that I am very proud of.
- I joined the Air Force out of high school and got stationed at Offutt in Nebraska. Meanwhile, my mom became the world traveler; she has been to 35 different countries.
- My mom thinks my job title is “Kris – Help!”

A few months ago you came over to my off site clinic , on your lunch time no less, to help me with an issue I had with Firefly. Kris is always extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She has helped me out of a jam more times than I can count.
