Campus groups will have the opportunity to rent the UNMC ice rink for private events on Tuesdays through Fridays during the skating season that runs from Nov. 30 to Jan. 11.
Groups affiliated with UNMC, The Nebraska Medical Center, UNMC Physicians, Clarkson College and Ronald McDonald House can pay $50 to rent the rink. Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card.
No group rentals of the rink will be available on Mondays or weekends. Hours of operation available for group rentals are:
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday;
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 4 to 10 p.m., Friday.
The rink is located on the east side of 42nd Street, between the College of Nursing building and the Sorrell Center.
Groups must have at least 50 people. The deadline to reserve the rink is Dec. 10.
