Opera Omaha is offering a free lunchtime preview of its Nov. 1 and 3 production of “Carmen” from noon to 1 p.m. today.
Uruguayan baritone Marcelo Guzzo will give an exclusive performance and then be joined by Opera Omaha’s music director J. Gawf for a discussion about the production.
Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions and to hear from experts in the field of opera production, in addition to seeing the live performance.
UNMC students, faculty and staff will walk away from the free presentation with insider information about Opera Omaha’s production of “Carmen.”
The event will be held at the Durham Outpatient Center atrium.
