UNMC has made it past round one for the Greater Omaha of Chamber of Commerce’s 2014 Young Professionals Choice Awards. The YP Choice Award recognizes organizations that excel in their efforts to attract, retain, and develop young professionals in the Greater Omaha area.
So that UNMC can be considered a finalist for the award, the Chamber has asked to send a survey to UNMC employees, particularly young professionals, so that they can share their opinions on the UNMC work environment. That anonymous survey will be sent from the “Today” account later today. It must be completed by Oct. 11.
“This would be a tremendous award for our organization, and I hope that employees will strongly consider taking the survey so that UNMC may be considered,” said John Russell, executive director for Human Resources. “We believe that UNMC is an excellent place to work, and this anonymous survey will provide an opportunity for our employees to share their insights with the Chamber.”
UNMC will receive only a summary of the data collected from the survey. It will not have access to individual responses. This survey is separate from the UNMC-initiated Employee Satisfaction Survey, for which results were released this week.
