The Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center is this year’s Platinum Sponsor for the event, which raises funds to support lifesaving cancer research and provide information and services for blood cancer patients.
Registration fees have been paid for by The Nebraska Medical Center so all employees and their families are welcome to participate at no cost.
Register here by the end of the day Thursday. Select “Join a Team,” enter Team TNMC/UNMC, fill in the requested information and submit. In order to ensure you receive a T-shirt, you must select a shirt size during this process.
Participants will receive:
- A Light the Night T-shirt,
- An illuminated Light the Night Balloon in red (supporters), white (survivors) or gold (in memory of loved ones).
- A wristband which entitles the wearer to food and refreshments.
Each year, thousands of Light the Night walkers from across the United States and Canada walk and raise funds in an effort to help patients live better, longer lives.
