Opera Omaha is bringing the stage director and two star singers of its upcoming production of “Carmen” to speak at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and UNMC faculty, staff and students are invited.
The free presentation will take place at 7 p.m. Oct. 2 at the Strauss Performing Arts Center, Room 105, on the UNO campus.
Director Lillian Groag, conductor Hal France and stars Leann Sandel-Pantaleo and Jonathan Burton will take part in the discussion.
UNMC students who attend the class will receive a free ticket to a performance of “Carmen” (performance dates are Nov. 1 and 3). Employees and staff are welcome to attend the event, but will not receive free tickets.
