Tour de Cure 2014 already seeking riders
It’s early, but registration is already open for the American Diabetes Association’s 2014 Nebraska Tour de Cure.
Early registration means riders have more than eight months to raise funds for the May 31, 2014 ride.
Tour de Cure is more than just a cycling event, it’s a life-changing event. Riders of all levels join forces in the fight to stop diabetes and raise funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy in support of the American Diabetes Association.
Routes, ranging from 10 miles to 50 miles, fit skill levels from experienced cyclists to beginners. Go to the Tour de Cure Nebraska website or the UNMC team website for more details. (On the tour website, click on “News & Promotions” for the latest registration discount code).
Fundraising minimums for the event are $150 per participant ages 16 years old or older and $50 per participant ages 15 or younger if riding on their own bike. Any participant who has diabetes and meets the fundraising minimum will get a Red Rider jersey.
