While fall ushers in cooler temperatures and the beautiful change of season, this transition outside can mimic the transition that many people experience in their personal lives.
This time of year can mark the return to school for our kids, or the welcome of students to our classes and clinics. If you are experiencing other stresses in your life, adding a busier schedule and heavier workload can many times cause havoc to arise.
In the first Olson Center for Women’s Health brown bag of the season, Julie Luzarraga discusses “From Chaos to Calm.” The lecture will take place from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday (Sept. 17) in the UNMC Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.
Seating is limited; please pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 402-559-6345. Bring your lunch. Simple refreshments will be provided.
The lectures are free. However, if you would like to obtain nursing credit, the cost is $10. Payment instructions will be given when you pre-register.
Note: The UNMC College of Nursing Continuing Nursing Education is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
This activity is provided for 1.0 contact hour under ANCC criteria.
