Popeye’s Chicken is the newest food vendor on campus.
The vendor will be serving in the Sorrell Center Commons area on Thursdays, including $5 meal deals, beginning this week.
The current vendor schedule, brought to you by the UNMC Sorrell Center Convenience Store, is as follows:
Durham Research Center: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Mondays – Little King Soup & Salad (cash or credit card)
- Tuesdays – Little King Pizza (cash or credit card)
- Wednesdays – Mr. Goodcents Subs (cash or credit card)
- Thursdays – Mangia Italiana (cash only)
- Fridays – Zemog’s (cash or credit card)
Sorrell Center: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Mondays – Mr. Goodcents Subs (cash or credit card)
- Tuesdays – Mangia Italiana (cash only)
- Wednesdays – Zemog’s (cash or credit card)
- Thursdays – Popeye’s (cash or credit card)
Would it be possible to extend the lunch time at Sorrell to 1:30, as it is at the DRC? Many people take a lunch break from 1 to 2 pm.
I also wish we could get coffee shops at these locations, and not just the vending machines. Pretty sure the students are living on the stuff.
