I am one of the email administrators in Information Technology Services. I help support email, Lync (instant messaging) and mobile phones with email. I was involved in the conversion from Lotus Domino (Lotus Notes) to Microsoft Exchange (Outlook) last year. I also am the administrator of one of the printer servers on campus.
Being a trusted resource is one of UNMC’s brand values. Tell us of a time you witnessed a person or group act as a trusted resource at UNMC.
I have worked with Public Relations in mass email communications and they are always helpful. They always have the information needed, and it’s nice to be able to rely on them. Also working in IT, there are many times that I need information from other coworkers in our department, and I can always get that information, which is very valuable.
In regards to a personal situation, just recently people here on campus helped me find the right resources to help one of my family members back to being healthy again. I can’t thank those people enough. They were very trusted resources.
What is your favorite spring activity?
I like to be outside with my husband, my son and our dog as well as playing sand volleyball and golfing.
List three things people may not know about you.

- We have a 21-month-old son who is a blessing in our life. We also have a black lab. I’m also very close to my family. I see my parents, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews regularly.
- I am a huge sports fan. We watch Nebraska Husker sports as well as any sports on TV. I played basketball for a few years at Nebraska Wesleyan, and I still play in basketball leagues with my college friends. I even went to the Women’s Final Four in San Antonio a few years back. I also play in volleyball leagues.
