Construction will close sections of Wittson Hall beginning Monday, April 22 – including the walkway into University Tower.
Monday morning, new construction barrier walls will be put in place to isolate the final phase of the Wittson Hall HVAC upgrade project.
The fourth floor connector between UT-1 and Wittson Hall will receive both mechanical and fire safety improvements during this process, and it will be out of service until the completion of the work. This phase of construction is anticipated to last for approximately 10 weeks.
Questions on the closures can be addressed to Nick Combs, construction project manager, at 559-5292.
“Since it is vital that everyone working in the building be aware of the closure, I ask that you mention it to your colleagues,” Combs said in an e-mail sent to UNMC staff, faculty and students this week.
