UNMC offers free CPR training April 28 to youths 11-18

The University of Nebraska Medical Center Youth Learning Center will hold a free class on cardiopulmonary resuscitation training (CPR) on Sunday, April 28. The class is open to youths between the ages of 11 and 18.

The Teen Learn to Save a Life Day will be one hour in length and will teach skills on how to recognize and respond to life threatening emergencies.

The one-hour class, which will be held on the UNMC campus, is available during the below times:

9 to 10 a.m.

10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

1 to 2 p.m.

2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Organizers ask registrants to bring non-perishable food items, which will be donated to the Omaha Food Bank.
