The Nebraska Summit on Entrepreneurship will host its seventh annual conference under a new name: Intersect. The daylong conference is April 12 with the theme, “Connecting Nebraska’s Startup Community.”

Hosted by the University of Nebraska, Intersect brings together innovators, investors and others to meet, mingle and share lessons learned. The conference will also feature Startup Village, where entrepreneurs can showcase their ideas and products.

The 2013 conference will be held at the Embassy Suites Conference Center in La Vista, Neb.

Brad Feld, a nationally renowned speaker, author, and the managing director of the Foundry Group, will deliver the keynote address. Based in Boulder, Colo., the Foundry Group invests in U.S. software and internet companies.

The University of Nebraska’s NUtech Ventures and UNMC’s tech transfer group, UNeMed, are organizing the conference to bring together innovators and business leaders in Nebraska’s startup community. For more information or to register, visit the Intersect website or call 402-314-6614.
