The UNMC Vice Chancellor for Research office has created a Sequestration Newsroom to collect the latest updates from federal agencies.
Sequestration – the series of automatic, across-the-board cuts to government agencies – took effect March 1.
“The website was created to disseminate information as soon as we have it regarding how sequestration will affect individual research award programs,” said Jennifer Larsen, M.D., vice chancellor for research. “We will continue to post information as soon as it becomes available.”
The site will remain in place as long as it is needed as a resource to the research community regarding the impact of sequestration.
