UNMC’s first-ever Chinese Cultural Fair, for employees and students, will be Friday (Feb. 8) from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Durham Research Center Commons.
The first 200 participants will receive Chinese knots.
UNMC faculty, staff and students can:
- Taste foods from various Chinese restaurants,
- Have their English name written in Chinese,
- Learn to play Jianzi and Chopstick games,
- See performances by UNMC Chinese students.
Performances begin at 3:45 p.m.
The event is coordinated by the Asia Pacific Rim Development Program, along with UNMC’s Chinese Scholarship Council Students and is part of the UNMC Human Resources – Diversity Lectures and Cultural Arts Series. If you have questions, contact the Asia Pacific Rim Development Program at 402-559-3791.
