A retirement tea for Linda Fell is set for 2-4 p.m. today (Jan. 17) in the Sorrell Center’s Linder Reading Room.
Fell, the outgoing director of the clinical laboratory sciences program at the School of Allied Health Professions, is stepping away after more than 20 years in UNMC’s CLS program. Her last day is Feb. 1.
“Linda’s significant contributions to the advancement of clinical laboratory science education will be her legacy. She has been instrumental in developing an educational network to serve rural Nebraska and the region,” said Kyle Meyer, Ph.D., senior associate dean of allied health. “Under her leadership the SAHP CLS program has risen to national prominence.”
All the best in your retirement, Linda, and thanks for hiring me 15 years ago!
Linda's leadership and personal kindness will be missed. Have a great retirement!
