Weekly eTip – IT classes for researchers

Question: I am a researcher working to prepare a grant and need to create a poster with photos and diagrams and give a presentation. What kinds of training might help with that?

Several upcoming classes are available to UNMC staff and students, including:

Adobe Photoshop Basics on Thursday, Jan. 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. in 8011 Wittson Hall (ITS Training Room);
Grant Writing: Specific Aims page on Thursday, Jan. 24 from 2 to 3 p.m. in 2020 Bennett Hall;
Scientific Posters using PowerPoint on Thursday, Feb. 7 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in 8011 Wittson Hall;
Scientific Posters using Adobe Illustrator on Thursday, Feb. 14 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in 8011 Wittson Hall; and
PowerPoint Basics on Wednesday, Feb. 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. in 8011 Wittson Hall.
