The University of Nebraska Medical Center Division of Nephrology is holding free monthly educational classes on kidney disease on the second Tuesday of each month beginning Feb. 11 through Nov. 11, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Classes will be held in the Durham Outpatient Center 2nd floor, Room 2628.
Each month will feature a different topic on kidney disease taught by physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and a dietician. Attendees can attend one or more classes.

Feb. 11 — Chronic Kidney Disease: What to Know & What to Do
March 11 — Kidney Function Tests: What Do These Mean?
April 8 — Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and Your Kidneys
May 13 — Renal Diet
June 10 — Kidney Disease: What to Know & What to Do
July 8 — Hemodialysis
Aug. 12 — Home Therapies: Peritoneal Dialysis & Home Hemodialysis
Sept. 9 — Kidney Transplant
Oct. 14 — Advanced Directives, Palliative Care & Hospice
Nov. 11 – A Patient Panel, featuring talks by a kidney donor, dialysis patient, and a kidney transplant recipient
