Carmen Sirizzotti and Linda Cunningham will each have new roles and responsibilities in UNMC Human Resources on Jan. 1.
Sirizzotti will move from her role as division director of employee relations to assume the role of division director of strategic staffing, compensation, records and HR IT. She will keep her duties related to Title IX and Reduction in Force.
Cunningham — presently a diversity specialist in HR — will become division director for employee relations, organizational development and diversity.
“These moves will help us maximize the skills and talents of both Carmen and Linda in ways that most benefit our employees and the organization,” said John Russell, assistant vice chancellor of human resources.
With the changes, Russell said UNMC can:
- Better integrate diversity with employee relations and organizational development activities; and
- Improve the alignment of the Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity function with the diversity function for the campus.
