There is a new, web-based SAP security form accessible from the SAPPHIRE tab in Firefly.
It was necessary to create a different method to process security requests because the old request form was based on a Lotus Notes application.
This form is to be used to request new access or changes to existing access for such applications as:
- SAP;
- ESS;
- My Staff;
- eSHOP;
- Portal reports;
- BCS;
- Budget Prep; and
- Business Intelligence.
To access the new form, go to the SAPPHIRE tab in Firefly and click the Request or Update SAP ID link.
If you know the employee’s personnel number:
- Enter the employee’s personnel number in the Search for Employee text field and press Enter on your keyboard; the employee’s information will auto-populate the remaining fields.
- Verify that the correct information is populated and click the Update Personal Info button.
- Click the Return button.
If you don’t know the employee’s personnel number:
- Click the Search for Employee button.
- Enter the employee’s last name and first name.
- Click the Search button.
- When the employee’s name appears, select the name by clicking the box to the left.
- Click the Select Employee button.
- The employee’s information will auto-populate the remaining fields.
If the person has not yet been entered into SAP and/or you can’t find them using one of the first two options, enter the information directly into the fields.
Once the employee information has been added:
- Complete the remainder of the form as you normally would.
- Click Submit.
