On Wednesday, Nov. 21, Robert Wigton, M.D., associate dean in the College of Medicine and professor of internal medicine, will start four-part series on the history of the college.
Dr. Wigton’s first talk in the series — titled “A New Beginning, 1881-1912” — starts at noon in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.
Free pizza will be served to the first 100 in attendance.
The schedule for the remaining seminars in the series is:
- Jan. 16 — “Part 2: 1913-1946, the New Home on 42nd Street”
- Feb. 20 — “Part 3: 1947-1980, the Birth of the Medical Center”
- March 20 — “Part 4: 1981-2013, Modern Times”
Each session is on a Wednesday and starts at noon in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.
