Tell us a bit about what you do here at UNMC.

I am the administrative assistant to Don Leuenberger, the vice chancellor for business and finance, as well as administrative support for Fred Salzinger, director of health planning, policy and finance, and Rick Spellman, associate general counsel health sciences.

Leadership is one of UNMC’s brand values. Tell us of a time you witnessed a person or group act demonstrate leadership at UNMC.

The Cancer Center Campus is the first thing that comes to mind. A project of this magnitude takes an incredible amount of time in planning meetings and the ability to pull together a wide variety of resources both on and off campus to make it a success. I think we are fortunate to have a leadership and the necessary support staff in place to make a visionary project like this one a reality.

What is your favorite Fall activity?

I love being outside trimming up trees, hedges and doing general yard work when it’s a little bit cool, but the sun is shining and trees display such awesome colors.

List three things people may not know about you.

• I have an identical twin
  
• Two of my sisters and I have bowled in Women’s Nationals for more than 20 years.
  
• I broke both of my elbows at the first Parkinson’s Skate-a-thon event and haven’t been on the ice since.
