Innovation Week — which features a series of events that highlight UNMC personnel who have worked to move their ideas to the marketplace — starts today.
Below is a schedule of the week’s events:
Today
9 to 11 a.m. — Kickoff! Come to the Durham Research Center Atrium to meet the UNeMed staff. Free T-shirts, breakfast snacks, coffee and espresso drinks will be available. You also can register to win an iPad 2.
Tuesday
Noon to 1:30 p.m. — Gary Madsen, Entrepreneur-In-Residence, UNeMed Corp., will present “What is an EIR and how can he help you?” in the Durham Research Center Auditorium. Pizza will be provided while supplies last.
Wednesday
2 to 3 p.m. — Steven Ritchey, Charles Romano and Denise Mayfiel of Thompson Coburn, LLP, will present Highlights of the American Invents Act” in the Durham Research Center, Room 1005.
Thursday
4 p.m. — The UNMC Research Innovation Award Ceremony and Reception will be held in the Durham Research Center Auditorium and Atrium. The iPad winner will be announced at ceremony. You must be present to win!
