Employees and students of UNMC and The Nebraska Medical Center are invited to register for free art classes. Classes are offered as part of our campus partnership with the Joslyn Art Museum.
Classes meet from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23 and 30, and Nov. 6, 13, 20 and 27. Classes will meet in The Lied Transplant Center, Rooms 1, 2 and 3.
Working from photographs and art reproductions, students will discover methods of drawing the face realistically. They also will learn the principles of classic proportion, handling features and rendering light and shadow.
Ron Sykes is the instructor. All materials are provided.
