Alright people, as of 3 p.m. on Wednesday, we had raised about $133,724 and 36 percent of employees had participated in the 2012 United Way drive.
This means we have more than $14,000 to raise and two days to do it to reach our goal of $148,000.
With that in mind, the captain has a question for you.

OK, so it was a rhetorical question. And yes, he answered it for himself.
But that doesn’t change the fact that we’re near the end of our 2012 United Way drive and still have ground to cover.
A lot to work with
And our participation percentage shows we have a whole lot of people left who could help us reach our goal.
Our guess is that many of you already have participated. If that’s true, feel free to nudge others to do the same. Given the fact that less than half of the campus has participated, you probably know a few people who qualify.
Participation perks
Maybe remind them that participation qualifies them to win prizes in Friday’s final drawing, which will include gift cards to local businesses and tickets to a Nebraska football game.
