UNMC employees are invited to preview the Joslyn Art Museum’s latest exhibit, “Under Pressure: Contemporary Prints from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation” as part of a free member’s event on Friday, Oct. 5.
What: “Under Pressure” presents selections from the largest collection of contemporary prints in the United States and charts an array of artistic and social concerns, from minimalism to pop and conceptual art, and more recent works addressing race, gender and identity.
When: 6 to 8 p.m. The night starts with a conversation with the collector in the Witherspoon Concert Hall and is followed by an exhibition viewing. Complimentary light hors d’oeuvres and cash bar available in the Pavilion Galleries and ConAgra Foods Atrium.
Where: Joslyn Art Museum. During the preview the museum gift shop and cafe will be open for any food or gift purchases. UNMC employees do receive a member discount at both.
