• No. of years at UNMC: Two years in my current position as a web developer. Two years in a previous position as workstation support from 2005 to 2007.

What is your best memory from your time at UNMC?

I have had a blast working with my co-workers and the PR staff over the last year and a half on our website. … I have learned a great deal already and I look forward to seeing what we can come up with next.

A month into my first tenure at UNMC, I helped move our department to the newly remodeled Annex 10 building. We used the bright orange Kubota Utility vehicles to move all of the heavier equipment. On my last trip, I parked the vehicle outside the old IT building and went upstairs to gather more equipment. Then Donna McCullough slams down the phone and yells, “Todd, you better get your butt downstairs to the Kubota now!” To my shock and embarrassment, I found two ITS directors holding the Kubota to keep it from rolling down the alley. How’s that for working together? It seems I had missed the very last step that we were told in our training; always set the emergency brake.

List three things people may not know about you.

• I have a second child on the way to complete the equation of two parents, two children, two cats, and two pugs in a single household.
  
• I am slowly building a collection of musical instruments, regardless of my ability to play them. The current collection consists of three acoustic guitars, two electric guitars, a lap steel guitar, a ukulele and a mandolin.
  
• I try to walk everyday, regardless of weather conditions, in an attempt to stave off the effects of sitting in a cube all day.
