Memorial services for Jenelle Kerger, who worked at UNMC for 38 years, will be held on Friday, June 15 at 7 p.m. at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

Kerger, a mail room supervisor, died May 20. She was 62.
“Jenelle was someone you could really count on,” said Keith Swarts, UNMC’s director of business services. “She was a real pioneer in getting this campus to where it is today in regards to mail delivery. She helped set up our ZIP code system, automated our processes and organized the routes.
“I miss having her as a ‘go to’ person in the mail room and I’m sure others will as well.”
Jenelle will be missed by many on this campus. If I ever had a problem with anything, I could always count on Jenelle. My sincere condolences go out to her family and friends.
