I worked on many projects with Ron. He was one of those people who just not only talked about it…. but did it. and made sure it was what had been envisioned. I will truly miss Ron and that big smile he displayed when we had accomplished a major feat.

I've known Ron first as a colleague at UNMC and then as a neighbor and golfer at Oak Hills. He was so easy and straightforward to work with to create the space for our Center for Advanced Surgical Technology. His contributions to our Oak Hills neighborhood as a Board Member are also impressive. Ron's approach and talents will be missed. Marsha Morien

Ron was one of the nicest and most well like fellas you could ever meet. Ron and I went to the same church for many years. We even shared church mowing duties together. He would help in the kitchen lines or do dishes, whatever was needed. His leadership and friendship will be sorely missed. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and to those who worked with Ron at UNMC. It is a great loss to all of us. > Regent Bob Whitehouse…

Ron was a great friend and co-worker, he had a gentle way of accomplishing the work of a large project and provide personal attention to small projects too. He provided help for many UNMCP projects over the last 6 years. He spoke fondly of his family and enjoyed many hobbies outside of work too. I'll miss Ron a lot. My sympathies to his family and many friends.

Like others, I always enjoyed working with Ron. He was often quiet in meetings but with few words was on top of everything that was said and always made sure projects moved along. He was very professional about everything he did. I will truly miss him.
