UNMC Physicians Midtown Clinic will host an open house Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. to celebrate its recent recognition as a Level 3 medical home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).
The clinic is at 139 S. 40th St., in Omaha.
Equipped to better serve
By becoming a recognized patient-centered medical home, the clinic is better poised to receive private and/or public incentive payments supporting the patient-centered medical home model.
At the open house, refreshments and walking tours of the clinic will be offered and several displays will highlight how Midtown Clinic transformed from a community clinic that provided episodic care to a clinic that provides long-term, collaborative care.
