The rollout of One Chart in UNMC Physicians Clinics will occur on May 1. There are several pre-rollout tasks that will be key to your success on the new electronic health record system.
Please begin to do the tasks below now in preparation for the conversion.

- Resolve duplicate and inactive problems from problem lists See a screen shot.
- Discontinue out-of-date ambulatory medications ignoring immunizations. See a screen shot.
- Do not use Centricity alert notes to document anything you want to appear in the new system. You may continue to use short clinical notes as they will be converted.
Register for training
Ensure that you have been registered for One Chart training:
- Registration instructions for providers are located on the upper right hand corner of the One Chart training site. You must be logged into the system to access this website.
Post training
After you complete training, you will be able to tailor your system view. In preparation, you should:
- Identify types of letters you will routinely want to use for patients/referrals in the new system.
- Identify recurring patient care documents you will want to use in the new system.
- Assemble a list of common orders for personal preference lists.
- Copy and paste onto a thumb drive any notes or phrases that you routinely use and bring to your preference lab session.
