Today we get to know Ben Herink, captain of the 2012 Walk and Roll for Disabilities, which will be held Sunday at Westroads Mall and supports recreation programs at the Munroe-Meyer Institute for adults with disabilities.

Education/Occupation: Ben attended Omaha North High School and works at Mosaic Vocational Workshop.
Favorite Past-time: Thursday evening adult recreation therapy program, funded by the Meyer Foundation for Disabilities. Ben also enjoys playing Challenger baseball, fishing and participating in Special Olympics.
Favorite MMI memory: Camp Munroe and all the great people he met there and Wheel Club bike rides.
Most looking forward to about the Walk and Roll: Reunion with friends and an opportunity to raise money for the recreation therapy program.
