Campus investigators and others are reminded to register for training to learn to use the Institutional Review Board’s new online submission system.
A series of training sessions have been set up to help researchers and others prepare for the Jan. 16 launch of the new submission system.
The trainings run daily from Jan. 4 through Jan. 13.

The new user-friendly system will:
- Streamline the application process and make it easier for investigators to complete and submit protocols; and
- Help ensure that the IRB receives the information necessary for its review which, in turn, should help facilitate and potentially accelerate the entire submission, review and approval process.
As of Jan. 16, the Office of Regulatory Affairs will no longer accept any new initial IRB applications in paper format.
