UNMC and its Adopt-A-School partner, Monroe Middle School, look to spread some holiday cheer to a pair of families in our community.
Here’s a bit more about our families.
The first family is composed of a single mother and her 13-year-old son. Gift ideas for this family include:
- Gift cards to Walmart, restaurants and movie theaters;
- Drawing supplies; and
- Classic games for the Nintendo DS.
The second family comprises six people — mom, dad and four teenage boys. Gift ideas for this family include:
- Games for the Nintendo WII;
- Gift cards to No-Frills Supermarket, sporting goods stores and local restaurants; and
- A family membership to the Downtown YMCA.
