Glenn Fosdick, president and CEO of The Nebraska Medical Center, says “Go Blue!”
The Husker Hombre is pumped up for Saturday’s Nebraska-Michigan game.

The Hombre can’t wait to see two of college football’s winningest programs throw down in front of 110,000 people in Michigan’s famed “Big House.”

Neither can Glenn Fosdick, president and CEO of UNMC’s hospital partner, The Nebraska Medical Center. Fosdick is a Michigan alumnus and what legendary coach Bo Schembechler would call “A Michigan Man.”

Read on to see how the Hombre and Fosdick think Saturday’s Nebraska-Michigan game will play out.

The Hombre says, “The largest football stadium in the world, two of the most exciting quarterbacks in the nation, and more than 1,700 total combined wins will be in Ann Arbor this Saturday. The Blackshirt defense is going to have to prove itself against a very mobile quarterback if they want to come out with a win. Expect the evolving passing game of Taylor Martinez to open opportunities for big run plays.” NU 31, Michigan 24

Fosdick says, “I’d like to say 97-4 Michigan, but I recognize that Michigan is in a rebuilding year and Nebraska has a very strong team. If Michigan plays Denard Robinson out of the shotgun and he has a good game, Michigan has a good chance of winning. The Michigan defense has come a long way from last year. I like what the coach (Brady Hoke) is doing. I’m biased. I’d pick Michigan if they were playing the Packers. You gotta believe. Go Blue!” Michigan 31, NU 28

Nebraska's running game will prove to be too much for Michigan to handle . Especially late in the 3rd and going into the 4th quarter. The Defense will step up and contain the Michigan quarterback. Nebraska comes away with a win in The Big House. Nebraska 31 Mich. 27

The game will come down to which Nebraska team shows up to play. We have a very bad habbit of beating ourselves with turnovers and penalties.
