CityMatCH, a 20-year national public health organization housed in the University of Nebraska Medical Center Department of Pediatrics, received a National Health Information Silver Award for its Life Course Game. The award from the Health Information Resource Center, a national clearinghouse for professionals who work in consumer health fields, recognizes the nation’s best consumer health information programs and materials.
The game, which leads participants through an interactive experience, offers a new way of looking at health — not as disconnected stages — but as a complex interplay of biological, behavioral, psychological, social and environmental factors that contribute to health outcomes.
