Innovation Week — which features a series of events that highlight UNMC personnel who have worked to move their ideas to the marketplace — starts Monday.
Below is a schedule of the week’s events:
Oct. 10
- 9 to 11 a.m. — Kickoff! Come to the Durham Research Center Atrium to meet the UNeMed staff. Free T-shirts, breakfast snacks, coffee and espresso drinks will be available. You also can register to win an iPad 2.
- 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. — “Science on Tap” for UNMC Post Docs & Graduate Students at Castle Barrett(4330 Leavenworth St.) Chuck Valauskas, J.D., will present “The Transition from Analog: Technology Development and Commercialization Principles on the Other Side of the Great Digital Divide.”
Oct. 11
- 2 to 3 p.m. — Bob Nelson, Ph.D., of Lundbeck Research, will present “The Best of Both Worlds: How Academia & Industry Complete Each Other” during a special Innovation Week seminar in the Durham Research Center Auditorium.
Oct. 13
- 4 P.M. — The UNMC Research Innovation Awards Ceremony & Reception will be held in the Durham Research Center Auditorium and atrium. The winner of the iPad2 will be announced. You must be present to win.
