The energy levels of College of Public Health Dean Ayman El-Mohandes, M.B.B.Ch., M.D., M.P.H., are extraordinary, even on a campus full of vibrant overachievers.
In our final “33 percent” video, we explore what it would be like if he operated at only 33 percent capacity.
Daily numbers
As of 3:33 p.m. on Wednesday, $134,668 had been raised and participation was at 36 percent for the UNMC 2011 United Way pledge drive.
That leaves us about $10,000 from our goal to raise $145,000 in this year’s United Way Pledge Drive.
“We are definitely within reach,” said Kacie Gerard, manager of UNMC’s United Way drive. “If you haven’t participated, please do so and help us continue our tradition of exceeding our goal each year.”
Participation
The good news is we have surpassed 33 percent participation — our average for the past few years.
The bad news — we’re only a bit past that number. We know most who read this have probably participated. If that’s the case for you, please urge your coworkers to participate!
